GOATMAN of MARYLAND
There is a legend of a half-man half-goat creature that wanders the back country of Maryland with an ax killing people. I designed a toy version of the character a while ago, and recently decided to sculpt it.
This sculpt was done completely in ZBrush.
MOUNTAIN MAN
I designed this character and sculpted him in ZBrush as a personal project. Hard surfaces were also sculpted in ZBrush.

LEAF HEAD
This little guy was designed by my cool friend Ryan Metcalf, who was kind enough to allow me to sculpt it. I love the design, so this this was a lot of fun. It was done entirely in ZBrush.
Here is Ryan's painting:
And here's my sculpt:
I built the base mesh for this study in Maya, and sculpted the musculature in ZBrush.
As an intern in the character department at Disney Interactive I had the privilege of working with and learning from some brilliant artists on the game Disney Infinity. One of the main things I got to do was work on developing the little townspeople characters. It was fun to capture the strong design the concept guys put into them while keeping the poly count ultra low. I also did the textures for these little guys based on the character design. The animal ones were designed by my talented friend Scott Gwynn.
SPACE SHIP
I modeled this space ship in Maya for the BYU astronomy department as part of an educational planetarium show. The idea is that the large ship travels from planet to planet, and the ejected pod goes down and explores each one.
SENORA CLARA
The antagonist of BYU's short "Estefan" is a woman named Clara. In addition to modeling her, I worked with Paul Gerla on her rig; he built the rig, I skinned and articulated her and sculpted her facial blendshape targets.
